<p>The invention concerns a method for producing a substitute for natural snow which consists in cooling, with appropriate means, water to which has been optionally added a constituent for lowering its freezing point, to prepare an iced liquid product, and in eliminating said product liquid phase by a draining operation so as to isolate and recuperate the solid phase which is in the form of ice crystals whereof the properties and qualities are such that said solid phase constitutes a real substitute for snow in different forms suited to different needs. The draining operation can be naturally carried out by simple gravitation after spraying the iced liquid product directly on site using spray guns (43), for example. It can also be carried out by means of draining devices enabling to agglomerate the solid phase, which solid phase is recuperated to be used on site, such as for example on ski tracks.</p> |
