PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mooring cable displaced according to stress when tension is small and obtaining large displacement when tension reaches a certain value. SOLUTION: A constant reaction type fender 2 is provided at an intermediate part of a chain 1 constituting a mooring cable. The constant reaction type fender 2 is mainly composed of a cylindrical rubber body 3 with a hollow hole. Flanges 5 with reinforcing iron plates inserted are provided at both ends of the constant reaction type fender 2, and the flanges 5 are piercingly provided with bolt through holes. One end of each chain 11 is connected to the flange 5A of the constant reaction type fender 2A, and one of each chain 10 is connected to the flange 5B of the constant reaction type fender 2B. The respective chains 10 are connected to a connecting ring 12, and the respective chains 11 are connected to a connecting ring 13. The chains 1 are connected to these connecting rings 12, 13.
