PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an endoscope form without partly exceeding a display region even when sizes etc., of subject are different in the case where the endoscope form is displayed in such a size that a user is easy to see. SOLUTION: Positions of source coils 18-1, 18-2, etc., provided in an insertion portion 11 to be inserted into a patient 5 are magnetically detected by use of sense coils 19-1, 19-2, etc., of an external coil unit 20, and referenced localization information of a source oil of a marker 21 installed at a reference position of the patient 5 is detected by use of the sense coils 19-1, 19-2, etc. This referenced localization information is set at a center position of a display surface of a form display monitor 24 to display the form of the insertion portion 11 to display a pseudo-display of the form of the insertion portion 11, so in the case where it is displayed with the size of an insertion form enlarged to be easy to see, it can be displayed without partly exceeding a display region even when the size or the like of the patient 5 is changed.
