PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure safety of passersby while inhibiting increase of sensors. SOLUTION: A partition panel 10 is arranged along approximately the radial direction in a cylindrical wall 2 having opening sections 6a, 6b at opposite places, and the partition panel 10 has arcuate panels 18a, 18b simultaneously closing the opening sections 6a, 6b of the cylindrical wall 2 at both ends, and has a passing opening 11, in which passersby can pass, between the arcuate panels 18a, 18b, and is rotated and driven along the cylindrical wall 2 by a motor 36. Door panels 12a, 12b are slid and moved along the partition panel 10 by a motor 40 when the revolution of the partition panel 10 is stopped, and the passing opening 11 is opened and closed. Beams L1 or L4 are led and passed by a photoelectric sensor along the direction of the sliding and movement of the door panels 12a, 12b in the vicinity of at least the passing opening 11. When the partition panel 10 is rotated, a main control section decelerates or stops the partition panel 10 in response to the detection of a body by the above- mentioned photoelectric sensor. When the door panels 12a, 12b are slid and shifted in the closing direction, a sliding-door control section reopens the door panels 12a, 12b in response to the detection of the body by the above-mentioned photoelectric sensor.
