The suction mouthpiece has a suction nozzle, at least one tool for freeing solid material from the floor and a suction connection to a vacuum tube. The tool is mounted on the underside of the suction nozzle and the connection is arranged above the underside of the suction nozzle. The tool is a working plate (3) with a number of knobs (4,5) facing the floor and made of rubber or similar material and a number of adjacent openings (6) for the material sucked from the floor to pass through.
