PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability and safety of an EGR cooler by providing the EGR cooler capable of surely inspecting whether the soundness of a sticking spot is good or not. SOLUTION: An annular skirt part 13 almost same in diameter as a shell 1 and extending toward an axial inner part of this shell 1 is formed on the peripheral part of a plate 12, while a tip part of this annular skirt part 13 is further bent to a radial outside of the plate 12, forming a ring rib 14, and an end part of the shell 1 is butted to a radial inner part at a side end face of the shell 1 of the ring rib 14, sticking it from an outer side of the shell 1, and the fixed side end part of a bonnet 6 is externally fitted in a peripheral part of the annular skirt part 13, and a tip of the fixed side end part is butted to the counter shell side end face of the ring rib 14 whereby it is attached tight from the outside of this bonnet 6. |
