FIELD: crank-and-rocker mechanisms used as base mechanisms for obtaining multi-link mechanisms for transfer of considerable power loads equivalent within intervals of forward and back strokes of rocker arm. SUBSTANCE: mechanism includes crank, connecting rod, rocker arm and rack articulated together. Kinematically linked with rocker arm by means of intermediate connecting rods are pistons located in cylinders; working cavity of each of them is provided with suction and delivery valves. length of mechanism linked satisfy the following expression: 1 + lambda<CHF>2@1</CHF> = lambda<CHF>2@2</CHF>+ lambda<CHF>2@3</CHF>, where lambda<SB>1</SB>,lambda<SB>2</SB>,lambda<SB>3</SB> are relative length of crank, connecting rod and rocker arm; equal power serviceability is ensured according to these data in performing the forward and back strokes.
