PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position a cooker main body and a top plate at low cost, enhance assembling capability of an electromagnetic cooker, and reduce product cost by forming positioning projections corresponding to a plurality of positioning recesses formed on the top surface of the cooker main body, on the back surface of the top plate which covers an opening part. SOLUTION: An opening part 3 is formed in the center of a cooker main body 1, and a spirally wound heating coil 2 is housed in the opening part 3. A top plate 3 for covering the opening part 3 is fixed to the cooker main body 1. The top plate 7 is formed in a disk shape with an electric insulator such as crystallized glass. In the electromagnetic cooker, three or more circular positioning recesses 5 are formed at the equal intervals in a lug piece 6 projecting inward from the inner circumference of a circular, flat receiving surface 4 along the opening part 3. Positioning projections 8 fitting to the positioning recesses 5 are formed in the positions corresponding to the recesses on the back surface of the top plate 7. An adhesive is applied to the receiving surface 4, the top plate 7 is placed thereon, the projections 8 are fit to the recesses 5, and the top plate 7 is fixed to the receiving surface 4 by bonding. |
