Umbrella holder for marine vessel

The holder has first fastenings (5,8) to fasten the holder to a pipe (R) and second fasteners (2) for insertion of the holder in an opening. The opening can be a recess (31) in the vessel surface forming an umbrella recess (10) for an umbrella shaft. The umbrella holder is pivotal around a link (14) and fixable in different positions. The fastenings form a pipe recess (6) in which a tube section can be retained.
