PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an instant beverage that contains fats and is stable in storage, by admixing water, a fat-containing whitener and a specific stabilizer. SOLUTION: This beverage is obtained by using water, a fat-containing whitener as milk, solidified milk and the like, an stabilizer containing 0.05-0.25 wt.%, preferably 0.1-0.2 wt.% of a mono-glyceride emulsifier and 0.05-0.15 wt.%, preferably 0.05-0.1 wt.% of λ-carageenan as a fat stabilizer, in addition, adding a flavor-imparting agent as a soluble coffee solid and 0.05-0.3 wt.% of buffering salts selected from among sodium or potassium bicarbonate, disodium or dipotassium phosphate and sodium and potassium citrate. |
