Control of pile thread delivery to e.g. Jacquard weaving loom

The unit controls delivery of pile threads to a weaving loom. It has a spring-loaded braking system (2) for the pile thread (4) and a retraction system (5) operating on the pile fibre during warp length fluctuation, which is caused by changes in the shed location during weaving. The braking system comprises a series of Bellville (spring) washers (2) on a horizontal spindle (3), each braking a single pile thread (4).
