PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from making too many phone calls by setting the highest amount of accumulated tariff for a prescribed period to a communication equipment, thereby allowing the user to self-manage the phone call state for the prescribed period. SOLUTION: A personal handy phone system(PHS) 1 is composed of a master set 11, a master set 11, a slave set 12 acting like a portable communication equipment, a plurality of base stations CS (cs1, cs2,...) installed in areas where one area covers a zone whose radius ranges from several tens meters to several hundreds meters, and an enterprise installation 13 for the PHS 1 or the like. Files 14 with respect to charging and authentication that denote the operating state of the slave set 12 are connected to the enterprise installation 13. Then the user sets a maximum use limit amount (maximum monetary amount) for the communication tariff for a prescribed period such as one month to its own slave set 12. Consequently the highest amount for one month such as 5,000yen is set. Furthermore, prescribed percentages to the highest monetary amount such as 50%, 70%, 90% are set simultaneously. |
