System formed by three Y-shaped strips, preferably made from textile material, which are held in three boxes 5 which incorporate elastomer lugs 4. These boxes are composed of three pieces: a cover 6, a central box 3 and slide 2, which, via two lateral grooves, displaces and presses the elastomer 4 inside the central box 3. Thus, in this way, in the event of an impact, the transmission of energy on the helmet is absorbed by means of the straps described above, sufficient space remaining between the wearer's cranium and the spherical part of the helmet. The system eliminates the side rivets which secure conventional straps and the simple interchanging of the elastomer 4 guarantees the wearer's safety. <IMAGE>
