<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pigment-containing ink which is excellent in the dispersedness of pigment and can give a print excellent in water resistance, light resistance, etc., by using a dispersant having a specified structure for dispersing a pigment in an aqueous medium. SOLUTION: This invention provides an ink prepared by dispersing a pigment in an aqueous medium, wherein at least one member selected from compounds represented by formula I (R<1> is formula II: M<1> is an alkali metal or an ammonium group; and n is 2-20) and formula III (R<2> is an alkyl or an aralkyl; M<2> and M<3> are each H, an alkali metal or an ammonium group; p is 1-3; and q is 2-20) is used as the dispersant.</p> |
