PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure push-out operation of a card and enable preventing effectively card damage at the time of pushing out. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a frame for guiding and housing a card 9 such as an IC card, a connector which is firmly mounted on the frame and connected to a counterpart connector provided on the card 9, a turning motion making lever 15 attached to the frame, so as to be able to make a turning motion centering around a turning motion axis in the neiborhood of the connector, a push bar which is disposed on a side part of the frame so as to be able to slide in the insertion/extraction direction of the card 9 and whose front end part is coupled to one end of the turning motion making lever 15, and an engagement claw 17 which is provided on the other end of the turning motion making lever 15 and pushes out the card 9 by engaging with a front end part thereof. In this case, structure is made such that the engagement claw 17 is formed to have a U-shaped cross section and sandwichingly engages with the front end part 9a of the card 9 using its oppositely standing two side part pieces 20, while pushing out the card 9 using its middle part piece 21.
