PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the measurement of a compound by connecting a large gear to a rack for a presser rod without directly operating the presser rod on a ram and inserting a set of gears connected to the rack of the ram by a small pinion. SOLUTION: Instrument main bodies are composed of a narrow main part 1 and a tapered front end part 2 and the front end part 2 is slightly bent so as to set the end part of a holder 3 as the end. A cartridge 4 contains a compound and is provided with a plunger. A flexible ram 5 which is guided to the front end part 2 of the instrument main body is operated mutually with the plunger of the cartridge 4 so as to advance the latter. The ram 5 is firmly connected to the rack 6 of the ram and the rack 6 is guided in the longitudinal direction in a major part 1 of the instrument main body and operated mutually with the pinion 7 having the shaft mounted on the main body. The pinion 7 is connected integrally with the gear 8, the gear 8 is engaged with the rack 9 integrally melted in the presser rod 10 in the rear, and the presser rod 10 is provided with an operation plate 11 in the end. |
