PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the contact reliability between an elastic contact piece and a terminal part without enlarging a terminal metal. SOLUTION: A fitting part 11 of a terminal metal 10 for a circuit board P has a square pillar shape and an elastic contact piece 14 is formed inside the fitting part 11. When the terminal metal fitting 10 is installed in the circuit board P, the part H to be fitted is inserted between a receiving plate part 16 and the elastic contact piece 4 while elastically bending the elastic contact piece 14 and thus elastically pinched between them and the elastic contact piece 14 is brought into contact with a terminal part T. In the installed state. though force to part a supporting plate part 15 and the receiving plate part 16 vertically works due to the elastic force of the elastic contact piece 14, deformation due to the parting is prevented since the fitting part 11 is formed into a continuous square pillar shape without cut parts in the whole circumference. Consequently, a large size reinforcing member as a deformation preventive means is made unnecessary. |
