PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an original easy to see for a user and to improve operability for performing image composition by discriminating the color of an image and the color of characters on the original and compositing the original and the image while changing the states of characters on the original based on this discriminated result. SOLUTION: The colors of image data stored in an image data storage memory 204 and character data stored in an original part storage memory 208 are discriminated. Then, based on the result discriminated by a color discrimination part 210, the change processing of a character style to be executed to the character data is determined. In this case, the change processing of the character style is processing for changing the character style into style such as the inverted characters, void characters or bolded characters of character data. An image data merging part 213 synthesizes the character data processed by an original processing part 212 and the image data stored in the image data storage memory 204. Therefore, even when the color of characters on the original and the color of image to be composited with the original are similar, the image easy to see can be prepared. |
