PURPOSE:To obtain excellent presence feeling by mutually removing glasses for observing a three-dimensional image near the face of the other party in the way of picture processing while wearing the glasses for observing the three- dimensional image. CONSTITUTION:The configuration of the title device at the side of a transmitting person 1A is the same as the configuration of the device at the side of a receiving person 1B. For example, the configuration of the device at the side of the transmitting person 1A is composed of a display device 2A, two image carrying devices 3A and 4A arranged approximately at the interval between both eyes, glasses 5A for modulating light, a image converting device 11A, and a change- over switch 6A. Further, the pictures of the transmitting person and the receiving person, from which the glasses for observing the three-dimensional image are removed, are prepared from the pictures of the transmitting person and the receiving person wearing the glasses under image communication by using the image data of the transmitting person and the receiving person without wearing the glasses, and the prepared pictures are used in the image communication. Thus, a three-dimensional image communication device having natural presence feeling can be obtained. |
