PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid crystal polymer composition achieving a target of having low linear expansion coefficient without greatly reducing its mechanical properties, and useful as a material having the low linear expansion coefficient and low in anisotropy by adding specific 2 kinds of fibrous fillers in combination to a liquid crystal polymer. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal polymer composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. liquid crystal polymer (preferably, an aromatic polyester amide consisting of 6-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid, terephtahlic acid and p-aminophenol as structural units) with in total of 100-240 pts.wt. (preferably, 140-185 pts.wt.) (B) a fibrous filler having 0.1-8μm mean fiber diameter and >=3 mean aspect ratio (preferably a wollastonite), and (C) another fibrous filler having 8.5-20μm mean fiber diameter and <=40 means aspect ratio (e.g.; a mild glass fiber), and also the ratio of the components (B) to (C) is set as (1:3)-(3:1), preferably (2:3)-(3:2). |
