<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health apparatus with a simple structure which is ideal for treating and preventing lumbago or the like by turning a bed on which a patient lies upright so that the user is hoisted upside down utilizing his own gravity. SOLUTION: One end of a bed 1 which is supported freely rotatably around an axis thereof at the central part of its base 2 is bent upward to form a leg carrier side part (b) and set about 10cm above a flat part. An anti-knee slip part (d) is formed by extending it about 10cm outward from both ends of the leg carrier part (b) along the length of the bed 1. A seat belt 4 is mounted beneath the bed 1 while a hoisting ring 5 is mounted at an intermediate part of the leg carrier part (b). In application, a patient lies on the bed 1 kept horizontal, the knees of his legs are put bent on the leg carrier side part (b) and the ankle is put into a ring at the tip of the seat belt 4. Under such a condition, the patient lies on his back holding the hoisting ring 5 and a motor 3 is operated. The bed 1 is turned to take its upright position so that the patient is hoisted upside down.</p> |
