PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fogging without causing jitter by stopping the driving of a developing stirring device for a color other than black in the case writing the image of the color other than black is not required in the output image. SOLUTION: When a scanner reading start button is depressed by a user or an output signal is transmitted to an electrophotographic device by a computer (step 1), whether two or more developing colors exist on an original is detected (step 2). In the case a signal showing that two or more developing colors exist is included in a reading signal or the output signal, it is judged as the effect that two or more developing colors exist (step 3), and the clutch of a 2nd developing stirring device is turned on (step 4), so that development for the 2nd color is executed as usual. In the case the signal showing that two or more developing colors exist is not included in the output signal, the clutch of the 2nd developing stirring device is turned off (step 5) and the developing stirring device for the 2nd color is not actuated, so that toner is not supplied to a sponge roller and deteriorated toner amount is reduced. |
