Provided are a method and apparatus for supplying and conveying powder, which can always supply and convey a constant amount of powder on a stable basis for a long time period, which can be applied to intermittent supply and conveyance of powder without causing supply and conveyance of extremely-high-concentration powder at start of supply and conveyance of powder, and which have capability of meeting a quick change of an amount of supply and conveyance of powder. The method and apparatus for supplying and conveying powder are so arranged that the powder reserved in a fluid state in a powder hopper of the fluid bed type is supplied by an intermediate supply pump arranged to communicate with the inside of the powder hopper to a suction port of an ejector pump provided downstream thereof, and that the powder is conveyed together with the compressed gas for ejection of the ejector pump to a predetermined place. <IMAGE>
