In a laboratory stirrer arrangement a shaft (8) is mounted with a seal ring (7) and at least two Teflon sliding bearing bushes (5, 6), the upper one (5) of which is mounted in an upper glass tube section (2), comprising a conical or cylindrical or a split conical and/or cylindrical conformation which the outer contour of the bearing bush follows at least at the top and bottom edges. A central conical and/or cylindrical glass tube section (3) mounts the lower bearing (6), which has an outer contour conforming to the tube geometry at least at the top and bottom edges. Pref. the upper glass tube section has a conical shape with angle 1-20 deg , partic. 2-10 deg , pref. 3 deg .
