FIELD: paint and varnish production. SUBSTANCE: latex of synthetic polymer (its quantity being 3.0-30.0 mass %) is mixed with water to concentration 15.0-50.0 %, then 0.05-2.0 mass % of alkali agent are added by mixing. The process is followed by mixing thus obtained mixture with pigment (its quantity being 0.01-35.0 mass %) and filler (its quantity being 0.1-70.0 mass %). Then alkali agent is additionally added till viscosity of desired composition is 0,2-2×10Pa•s, quantity of said agent being 0.05-2.0 mass %. Proposed composition also may contain (mass %): stiffener 0.1-2.0, antifreeze 0.01-10.0, antiseptic 0.1-5.0. Mentioned above synthetic polymer is chosen of butadiene, methyl metacrylate and metacrylic acid copolymer, butadiene, styrene and metacrylic acid copolymer, butylacrylate, methyl metacrylate and metacrylic acid copolymer, butylacrylate, styrene and metacrylic acid copolymer.
