PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure easy and safe refueling by using a check valve to close/open the flow of a gas through a first gas flow passage and using a bypass valve to direct the gas to flow from a fuel reservoir through a second gas flow passage. SOLUTION: A check valve 39 arranged in a first gas flow passage 36 in a valve element 14 usually deviates to a closed position to close the flow of a gas through the first gas flow passage 36. The check valve 39 is opened in response to the flow of a compressed gas to direct the gas to flow one or more fuel reservoir. A bypass valve 60 arranged in a second gas flow passage 38 in the valve element 14 is usually located at a closed position to close the flow of a gas through the second gas flow passage 38. if one or more parts of a valve assembly should be repaired or maintained, the bypass valve 60 is opened before repairing, whereby the gas is returned from the fuel reservoir to produce a reduced pressure in a fuel system for a vehicle.
