The air guide (3) is fitted between the radiator (1) and the car engine (5) and secured to the wind cowl (2). It has one or more break points (6-8), spaced radially from the air guide centre axis (9) parallel to the travel direction. The engine also contains a fan (4). Pref. the air guide is annular with its periphery stepwise widening in the rearwards direction towards the outlet section so that there are several guide sections of different periphery. The break points may extend in transition region from one section to another one along enclosed peripheral lines.
