PURPOSE:To restore a sensor state to a normal state by detecting the sensor state and automatically cleaning the sensor when sensor is contaminated with dust, dirt, etc. CONSTITUTION:The device, equipped with a cash unit 18 which handles the cash required for transactions and is provided with the sensor 16 detecting the cash and the states of respective mechanism parts and a control part 28 which performs various control such as control over the cash unit, is provided with the compressor mechanism consisting of a compressor 45 and a hose 46 connected to the compressor 45; and air is blown to nearby the sensor installation position to clean the sensor. Further, the control part 28 is provided with a sensor state decision part 52 and a compressor control part 53 and the compressor mechanism is actuated unless the decision result of the sensor state decision part shows the normal state to automatically clean the sensor. |
