The system projects images (4), using the optical system (1) into free space allowing three-dimensional images to be produced. The system uses one or more lasers (3) whose beams are divided. One beam is used as a reference beam. The other or others are used as image beams. The image beam passes through an image carrier on which he image is stored in a special manner. The image beam is then superimposed on the reference beam again and the two or three dimensional image is produced where the beams are superimposed.
