<p>A method and apparatus for constructing and maintaining a database for an enterprise provides for the creation of a token (10) of a predefined standard which identifies a subject (14) of the database, its attributes (16), and its relation to other subjects (20). Subsequent tokens (10) are created for each subject for each event in which the subject is a participant. A created and stored token (10) cannot be altered or erased. The resulting database provides a complete history of the enterprise.</p> |
