PURPOSE:To prevent a pen and a main-body side constituent component from being broken or lost owing to forgetting to put the pen back. CONSTITUTION:Sensors 10a and 10b which detect the pen 7 being stored and not being stored in a storage case 5 respectively are provided, and status information of the sensors 10a and 10b is decided in response to the transition of a main switch 11 to an OFF state; when the decision result indicates the storage state, a power circuit 13 is turned OFF and when the decision result indicates the nonstorage state, on the other hand, an alarm for prompting the pen 7 to be stored in the storage case 5 is generated. Consequently, when the switch 11 is turned OFF while the pen 7 is stored in the storage case 5, the power circuit 13 is turned OFF, so the pen 7 can securely be stored in the storage case 5 of the document creation device. |
