摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the uneven heating in a furnace and carry out the homogeneous heating of steel materials by spraying a wall material containing SiO2, Al2O3, P2O3, Na2O and K2O on the inside wall of the furnace followed by vitrifying the sprayed material. CONSTITUTION:Furnace wall material 4 having high heat radiation rate is obtained by compounding >=60% SiO3, 10-20% Al2O3, <=5% P2O5, <=10% Na2O and <=10% K2O. The furnace wall material 4 is sprayed on low temperature parts 2, 3 of lower parts of the furnace wall of an upper one-way-igniting soaking pit 1 and then those parts are heated with a burner to vitrify the surface. Steel material 5 is placed in the soaking pit 1 and heated.
