<p>PURPOSE:To provide a buried pipe labeling system which can extend its communication distance when the system communicates with a buried pipe. CONSTITUTION:A buried pipe labeling system is provided with a probing device 100 which transmits electromagnetic waves and a labeling device 200 which transmits electromagnetic waves upon receiving the electromagnetic waved transmitted from the device 100 and is attached to the coupling section 310 of a buried pipe 300. The labeling device 200 has an antenna section through which electromagnetic waves are transmitted and received and which is provided with a loop coil 230 for transmission and reception and an IC element 210 for data carrier which is operated by DC power obtained by converting signals received from the antenna section and, at the same time, sends transmitting signals modulated with previously stored burying information. The loop coil 230 is provided in the peripheral direction of the coupling section 310 inside or on the internal surface of the coupling section 310 in a buried pipe labeling system the probing device 100 of which outputs the burying information after demodulation upon receiving the electromagnetic waves.</p> |
