PURPOSE:To reduce the scale of a vibration motor driving circuit and, at the same time, to efficiently switch the rotational direction of a vibration motor by rotating the motor by cyclically applying a motor driving voltage across voltage applying areas in the piezoelectric elements of a stator section. CONSTITUTION:The piezoelectric elements 42 and 44 of a stator section are divided into pluralities of voltage applying areas and the voltage applying areas are cyclically selected by means of a change-over switch 122. Therefore, when the voltage applying areas across which the driving voltage of a vibration motor 100 is selectively applied are moved in the rotational direction of a rotor by switching the switch 122, a rotor section which is in contact with the stator section is rotated is one direction. When the order of the voltage applying areas across which the driving voltage of the motor 100 is applied are change in the reverse direction, the rotor section is rotated in the opposite direction. Therefore, the scale of the driving circuit 110 of the motor 100 can be reduced and, at the same time, the rotational direction of the motor 100 can be efficiently switched. |
