The invention relates to a tube made of plastic or metal in which an accommodation space for an information leaflet is integrated. According to the invention, during the production process, the residual tube section which is left after filling and closing the tube is not cut off as usual, but is redesigned into an accommodation space for an information leaflet. The expensive and unnecessary folding-box package is thus not required.
