A fluid supply valve (1) comprises a sleeve (4) having a valve seat (9) disposed therein, and a piston (8) slidably mounted in the sleeve and resiliently biased substantially axially against the seat (9) so as to effect a fluid-tight closure, the sleeve (4) having an annular inner shoulder (23) situated on the opposite side of the seat from the piston (8), and the seat (9) comprising a ring connected in a fluid-tight manner to the shoulder (23) and to the sleeve (4) by at least one annular resilient element (22) so as to allow axial displacement of the ring (20) within the sleeve (4) and self-alignment of the ring on the piston (8).
