New derivatives of pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine, procedure for the preparation thereof and pharmaceutical compositions which contain them. Said derivatives have the formula: <IMAGE> in which: R is a radical selected from hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower aryl, nitro, amino, hydroxyl or acetamide; R' is a radical selected from hydrogen or lower alkyl; and R" is a radical selected from the group of hydrogen, acetamide, hydroxy, trifluoromethyl, nitro or chloro. A procedure is also described for the preparation of said products of general formula I and pharmaceutical compositions with diuretic properties which contain said products as active ingredients.
