A turbo exhaust pipe 10 comprises a turbine blade 23 driven by the gas to rotate a smoke filter 25, a cleaning element 29 and a chemical filter 21 in a common casing 11. Filter 25 comprises closely spaced aluminium bars, whose gaps retain the soot, which is thrown off by centrifugal force and collected in container 17. Element 29 comprises moving balls 30 between two nets and acts as an impingement filter. Chemical filter 21 absorbs nitride and converts carbon monoxide, and container 17 contains more of the same chemical. <IMAGE>
