<p>PURPOSE: To achieve an efficient heat storage operation by setting the horizontal distance between cryogenic fluid supply duct and discharge duct in an insulated space longer than the vertical distance and disposing an anti-convection means for sectioning the cross-section in the flowing direction of fluid in each duct. CONSTITUTION: Since the opening positions to be fixed with the duct parts 16a, 18a of an inner container 10 are shifted from the central position of an end wall 20, the duct parts 16b, 18b in the horizontal direction are set sufficiently longer than the duct parts 16a, 18a in the vertical direction. The duct parts 16b, 18b in the horizontal direction are provided with a parallel wall 40 and fluid flows without causing convection in the region of the sectioned duct parts 16b, 18b. Furthermore, radiation heat loss from the duct part can be prevented by a radiation reflective layer 41 arranged to sandwich the duct parts 16b, 18b in the horizontal direction from above and below. Consequently, heat storage operation takes place efficiently.</p> |
