The invention refers to an apparatus for disconnecting and cross-bonding of a metallic shield of a cable, made with a vessel including introducing elements for receiving first and second shield parts (14, 15) of phase conductors surrounded by respective sheaths (2) made of a highly conductive material, especially metal and an earthing terminal (5) forming a part of a current way from one of the first and second shield parts (14, 15) through at least one voltage limiter (19) and an earthing bar (6). In the apparatus the vessel is constituted by a pressure-tight housing (7) equipped with a holding wall (18) arranged in the inner space of the pressure-tight housing, wherein the earthing terminal (5) is fixed on the outer wall of the pressure-tight housing (7) and the at least one voltage limiter (19) connected to a common point of the first and the second shield parts (14, 15) is fixed on the holding wall (18). |
