The wall socket is fitted in an aperture in the wall surface with a support flange abutting the latter and side damping springs adjusted via corresponding fixing screws (24) to lock behind the rear edge of the wall aperture. The clamping springs are located in guides extending parallel to the longitudinal axis of the wall socket, each having two arms respectively cooperating with a nut mounted on the fixing screw and having a locking nose cooperating with the rear edge of the socket aperture. The clamping spring and the associated screw nut are formed as a one-piece element of a spring metal. ADVANTAGE - Simple mfr. and assembly with reliable fixing using standard screwdriver.
