PURPOSE:To easily balance tensile force between the side of a diameter contracting machine and that of a drawing machine at the time of starting the titled device by providing the device with a diameter contracting speed control circuit for controlling the diameter contracting speed of the diameter contracting machine and a drawing speed control circuit for controlling the drawing speed of the drawing machine. CONSTITUTION:The diameter contracting speed control circuit 15 controls the diameter contracting machine 9 through a diameter contracting speed computing circuit 19 and a diameter contracting machine driving circuit 20 so that a diameter contracting speed set up by a diameter contracting speed setter 17 is obtained. The drawing speed control circuit 16 controls the drawing machine 11 through a drawing speed computing circuit 26 and a drawing machine driving circuit 27 so that the rising speed of the drawing machine 11 is advanced by S from that of the machine 9 at the time of starting the device and the drawing tensile force of the machine 11 does not exceed the upper limit tensile force set up by a drawing tensile force setter 24. A drawing machine driving motor 14 is started on the basis of a set diameter contracting speed signal outputted from the setter 17. Consequently, an aluminium tube body or an optical fiber core can be prevented from being cut off at the time of starting. |
