PURPOSE:To eliminate a prepit manufacturing, to simplify the manufacturing processes, to efficiently reduce a production cost and to increase the recording capacity by placing preformat and data regions in the same space. CONSTITUTION:Guide grooves are formed along a track direction and preformat information and data are recorded for every sector. In this disk shaped recording medium, the guide grooves are formed in a meandering manner based on the signals in which reference signals that have prescribed frequencies and preformat information are synthesized. |
