<p>PURPOSE:To easily make rapid and accurate adjustment possible by regenerating the cassette for adjustment recorded with a prescribed fixed frequency signal, measuring a frequency of a regenerative output obtained from a magnetic head and adjusting it to coincide with the prescribed frequency. CONSTITUTION:The tape cassette for adjustment wound with a magnetic tape having a short length of approximately 30sec recorded with the prescribed fixed frequency signal is loaded into the device, and the tape is traveled at a rated speed by the servo system. Then, the frequency of the regenerative signal from the tape cassette for adjustment is measured by a frequency counter FC. Subsequently, a deviation amt. between the measured regenerative frequency and the prescribed frequency is calculated, and when the deviation amt. is more than a prescribed value, a semifixed resistor RV is adjusted to make the deviation amt. less than the prescribed value. By this adjusting operation, a range of the number of revolutions of a motor is adjusted at a proper value. Consequently, the need of management of a tape position of the tape cassette for adjustment is eliminated, and rapid and accurate measurement can thus be performed.</p> |
