PURPOSE:To reduce a document operation by adding a cursor inter-column moving function, thereby easily moving the cursor to an another column by a less key operations. CONSTITUTION:This processor is provided with a key inputting means 101, a character information storage means 102, an editing means 103, and a display means 104. Moreover, the processor is provided with a column control information storage means 105 which stores the column control information of each multiple column, a line control information storage means 106 which stores the line control information of each line, a cursor position information storage means 107 constituted of an area in which the present cursor position information is stored, and the area in which the next cursor position information is stored, a first retrieving means 108 which retrieves the position information at the line head and the line tail from the line control information by using the present cursor position information as a reference, and stores it in the storage area of the next cursor position information, a second retrieving means 109 which retrieves the position information at the line head and the line tail at the next column equivalent to the present line from the column control information, and updates it, and a position changing means 110 which changes the present cursor position information to the cursor position information moved based on the cursor position information. |
