The digital video signal crispener includes a first differentiator for digitally differntiating an input video signal, a coring seciton for reshaping the first differentiated waveform, an absolute value converter for converting the reshaped first differentiated waveform into an absolute value, a second differentiator for digitally redifferentiating the reshaped first differentiated waveform, an amplifying limiter for amplifying the second differentiated output and limiting it at a predetermined level, a multiplier for multiplying the output of the absolute value converter and the output of the amplifying limiter, a delay controller for delaying the input video signal for a time, and an adder for summing the output of the delay controller and the output of the multiplier, thereby obtaining a digital video signal from a limited frequency band to wide frequency band and removing overshoot and preshoot. |
