<p>PURPOSE:To hold data in a semiconductor chip by supplying power from an auxiliary power source at the time when external power cannot be supplied to a semiconductor package. CONSTITUTION:A rectifier 3 is provided between a charging battery 2 whose potential is lower than that of an external power source 1 and VDD pads 10 and 11 to simultaneously supply the power to an external VDD line and an internal VDD line 9 at the time of conduction of the external power source 1. If the external power source 1 is cut off, the charging battery 2 in a semiconductor package 5 is made conductive to supply the power to the internal VDD line 9.</p> |
