<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to excellently display the average operating state at the present time without sudden change in the display value by dividing with a predetermined value elements representing the operating states everytime they become predetermined values and integrating the thus divided values to average them. CONSTITUTION:At everytime when elements representing the operating states such as the traveling distance 4 and the quantity of consumable fuel 5 become predetermined values, and at everytime when the traveling time obtained from the oscillating signal emitted from a quartz oscillator 2 reaches a predetermined value, the traveling time is divided by a predetermined value, for example, 2 or 10. The values obtained by dividing the traveling distance, quantity of consumable fuel and traveling time by predetermined values, are integrated by new values to obtain the average vehicle speed, average fuel cost ratio and the like. By these procedures, new integration is performed on a part of the past integrated value, and therefore the average traveling state at the present time can be displayed advantageously.</p> |
