Shut-off valve for the feed line to a separator, with a float, a butterfly member (2) located inside the feed inlet line (1) and operable by the float via a linkage, and novel in that the butterfly (2) is arranged on a spindle (3) passing through the feed pipe (1) and is rotable to either side from a central open position extending parallel to the pipe axis to a terminal shut-off position, and that the spindle (3) possesses an external operating arm (6) with articulated correction of its free end to the float (4). USE/ADVANTAGE - Adjustable inlet-feed float valve to a liquid processing unit, such as a separator, and adaptable to existing styles of inlet.
