PURPOSE:To provide the process for producing the optical disk which simplifies a stage for forming a protective layer. CONSTITUTION:A protective coating film 4 consisting of a material having high oil repellency is formed on the outer peripheral side face 1a of a substrate 1 in the stage before the protective layer 3 is formed in the process for producing the optical disk which forms the protective layer 3 consisting of a synthetic resin 3a on the substrate 1 or the recording medium 2 formed on the surface of the substrate 1. |
